WASHING MACHINE
Washing Machine
1 SACHET (50G)
Best for internal drum scale, repeat smell, and hard-water buildup in machine internals.
- 1Keep the drum empty. No clothes, detergent, or other cleaner inside.
- 2Add 1 full sachet directly into the drum.
- 3Run a hot empty cycle at 60C or above.
- 4Keep the cycle at 60 minutes max.
- 5Run one immediate plain rinse cycle after it finishes, then wipe the gasket and drawer.
FREQUENCY: Monthly in hard-water homes, or every 6 to 8 weeks where buildup is lighter.
Do not use within 24 hours of a bleach cycle.
GEYSER
Geyser
1 SACHET (50G)
Best for storage geysers that heat slowly, rumble, or keep building scale in tank and element zones.
- 1Switch off mains power first.
- 2Drain the tank fully.
- 3Refill with water and add 1 sachet dissolved into the tank.
- 4Heat once to max 60C, then let it sit for 1 hour.
- 5Drain fully and flush with 2 plain-water rinses before normal use.
FREQUENCY: Every 3 to 6 months, depending on TDS and heater use.
Only use on tanks and linings that are suitable for descaling. When in doubt, ask the manufacturer or a technician.
IMMERSION ROD
Immersion Rod
1 SACHET (50G)
Best for rods coated in visible scale that are heating slower than they should.
- 1Unplug the rod and let it cool fully.
- 2Fill a bucket with room-temperature water and dissolve 1 sachet.
- 3Soak the rod for 1 hour.
- 4Rinse under running water for 30 seconds and dry before reuse.
FREQUENCY: Whenever visible scale builds up, usually every 1 to 3 months in hard-water zones.
Never descale an immersion rod while plugged in or still hot.
