BEFORE YOU BUY
Is TapStrike safe on chrome?
Yes. TapStrike includes BTA (benzotriazole) at 0.15% — a corrosion inhibitor specifically designed to protect chrome, brass, and stainless steel during acid descaling.
Can I use it on my showerhead?
External surface only. For internal descaling (blocked nozzles), use a DescaleX sachet dissolved in water and soak the showerhead for 20 minutes.
How is TapStrike different from Fighter?
Fighter is formulated for large surface areas (walls, floors, shower glass) with a foaming trigger spray. TapStrike is a thicker gel designed to cling to small fixtures — taps, basin mixers, handles — where precision application and chrome safety matter most.
Does it work in hard water areas?
Yes — designed for Indian hard water from 200 to 700+ TDS. The dual-acid system (Phosphoric + Citric) handles moderate to heavy mineral deposits on fittings.
How often should I use TapStrike?
Monthly in 400+ TDS areas. Every 2 months in moderate (200–400 TDS) areas. For heavy buildup on neglected fixtures, use twice in the first week, then switch to monthly.
Is it available yet?
