Not every descaling problem should be solved with the same product. A kettle, an espresso machine, a washing machine, and a geyser do not have the same material safety needs or scale load.
That is why OrangeDemon has three powder descaler SKUs:

Choose DescaleX if...
Choose DescaleX if you need a serious appliance descaler for coffee machines, espresso machines, dishwashers, or showerheads. It is designed for Indian hard water and uses a triple-acid system with chelation and metal protection.
It is the correct choice for espresso machines with brass or copper internals because it includes BTA for brass/copper protection.

Bio uses food-grade E-number ingredients and does not contain EDTA, BTA, phosphoric acid, or sulfamic acid.

Do not use Bio on espresso machines with brass internals. It has no corrosion inhibitor. For espresso machines, use DescaleX.

Choose WashDX for heavy appliance and plumbing scale. It is not a food-contact product. It is for mineral buildup in washing machines, geysers, boilers, water tanks, immersion rods, and RO pre-filter housings.
